
Éric Vyncke currently works at Cisco in the Global Technology Standards group where he focus on standards, IPv6, telemetry, and security. He joined Cisco in 1997. Éric is also the co-chair of the Belgian IPv6 Council since 2012. He is an Area Director for the Internet Area of the IETF; his previous work at the IETF were around IPv6, and information model, he is also the co-author of two network security books about layer-2 and IPv6.
When not reading Internet-drafts, Eric enjoys flying Cessna planes and gardening in his garden in Belgium.
