Prior to his tenure at GCA, Robachevsky was the Senior Director of Technology Programs at the Internet Society until February 2024. During his time there, he was instrumental in launching the Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS) initiative, an industry-led effort aimed at improving the security and resilience of the Internet’s global routing system.
Earlier in his career, he served as the Chief Technical Officer at the RIPE NCC, one of the five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs), where he was responsible for the organization’s IT strategy, including the management of the K-root DNS root server.
Robachevsky has been actively involved in various Internet governance and technical communities. He was a member of the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) from 2010 to 2012 and participated in the Consolidated RIR IANA Stewardship Proposal (CRISP) team in 2014.
